FAQ's

How far ahead should l start planning my wedding beauty services?

Typically we suggest at least 6 months in advance as our dates book up fairly quickly!

 

Is Airbrush Makeup worth it?

Yes, most definitely it creates a light weight yet full coverage which looks flawless- but it's completely up to you. Our Glam Girls will help you decide what is best for you. We provide a complimentary phone call if you want to go over any service questions! 

 

How important is skin care?

Very. Our Glam Girls go over a skin analysis prior to each application, so we can get the perfect look that goes with your skin type. We also provide a skin care consultant for each bride to fill out prior to their trial. Skin effects how the makeup will settle on your skin and the correct formulas and treatments you may need. 

 

Do I get to pick my artists?

All of our artists are highly trained and will equally provide the same quality service! You can definitely request a certain artist though depending on availability.  

 

Is there any extra charges? Tip? Travel?

Yes, we do charge .60/m after 50 miles round trip out of the Twin Cities. Any parking fees at the client's desired venue will be charged to the client. We do not automatically include gratuity like most companies, but it is much appreciated. :) Client's can tip on the card at the time of final payment or tip their artist directly in cash. 

Can you accomondate larger groups?

Yes we can for sure! We have done parties of 14+. We allow minimum of 5 services per artist, with that so maximum time needed for services is 4 hours. If you request any additional artists that day and the time frame is within the 4 hours, you may be charged an additional fee.

 

What kind of products do you use for makeup?

Our artists are equipped with the best products available - from Urban Decay, Anastasia, Cover FX & more. We do not limit our artists to one particular brand but all of our artists use professional grade makeup in their kits. 

 

Do you provide hair extensions?

Yes, we do have a selection of hair extensions you can purchase if you want! 

 

What is the booking process? 

We do require a 50% deposit and signed contract to reserve your date with us. The 50% deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to your final payment. The final payment is due one week prior to your event. If the final payment is not paid prior to your wedding/event, we do have the right to cancel your wedding/event. 

Do I have to have a trial? Can I have a trial before I book? When can I book my trial?

No, we do not require our brides to have trials however it is highly recommended. You can choose to have day of services. You can however have a trial prior to booking, it is strongly discouraged as the artist and date may not be available after your trial. If you wish to go this route there will be an additional fee. 

We will send out a trial coordination email 6 weeks prior to your event. Trials are done Monday-Thursday and can be done Friday-Sunday for an additional fee and at the artists' discretion. 

 

Do l have an online account? Or how do you communicate with me?

Yes each bride is provided with an online account that allows payment as well as resources for their wedding and how to prepare! We provide each client with a itinerary that must be approved 2 weeks prior to the event. :)
